How is the Aroon Indicator Used: Aroon is a technical chart indicator/oscillator used to track the trend and changes in trend of a stock, ETF, or other market/instrument. The Aroon indicator works by determining the time period between the market highs and the time period between the market lows.

What Does the Aroon Indicator Consist of: The Aroon Indicator has an “Aroon Up” line and an “Aroon Down” line. The former tracks the strength of the uptrend and the latter tracks the strength of the downtrend. Aroon is usually placed either above or below the price chart.
